Southeast Asia's biologics industry is entering a new phase of growth, driven by increasing healthcare demand, expanding biopharma capabilities and greater investment in biologics R&D, development and local manufacturing. Across the region, companies are strengthening capabilities to bring biologic medicines from early-stage research through clinical development, production and ultimately to patients.

Vietnam is emerging as an important part of this evolving ecosystem. The country is working to strengthen its pharmaceutical and biotechnology capabilities, including biologics, biosimilars and vaccines, while encouraging technology transfer, local production and greater collaboration with regional and international partners. Together with established and growing biopharma markets across Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian region, this is creating new opportunities across the biologics value chain.

Taking place on 20–21 October 2027 in Ho Chi Minh City, Connexius Biologics SEA 2027 will bring together biopharma and biotech companies, research organisations, manufacturers, CDMOs, logistics partners and technology providers from across Southeast Asia and the wider Asian region.

Covering the journey from biologics discovery and R&D to clinical development, CMC and regulatory strategy, process development and manufacturing, scale-up and technology transfer, cold-chain logistics and commercialisation, the conference will provide a focused platform to exchange expertise, explore new technologies and build partnerships supporting the continued growth of the Southeast Asian biologics ecosystem.
